 Marley on the Beach Everything anyone could ask for in beaches! Sugar sand, barrier dunes, clean water and tons of trails for people to hike and enjoy being outdoors. My dog, Marley and Me, will hike through the sand dunes to Lake Michigan now with September and the cooler weather coming. My husband, Pat, will be trailing behind Marley and Me, with the camera for some great photos to download here, on our web site.
People who live all year in Saugatuck/Douglas say, "September is the best month out of the year!" The Farmers Markets are bursting with all their fresh vegetables and produce that the farmers have labor all summer harvesting their bounties. Very soon you will be able to buy pumpkins and apples for the fast approaching Fall season. Check out my calendar events for all the happenings around town. Performances at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts, all the shopping around Saugatuck/Douglas from the Art Galleries to the wonderful restaurants. If you happen to be in the area, stop by JoJo's Americana Supper Club the newest, hippest place in town for good food, great live music to share with family and friends.
